The Golden Union has worked to support Jungkook and his music for a long time, and your contributions have helped us achieve countless milestones for JK.
MUSIC SUPPORT
We have proudly worked for Jungkook's songs to achieve what they deserve. We started 2020 helping him to secure #84 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and #2 on the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart with his solo My Time, which became the highest debut week for a Korean soloist with 20K sales.
After this accomplishment, we continued to consistently support My Time, helping Jungkook to become the fastest Korean soloist to sell 100K units in the US, and to have the second longest charting solo by a Korean Idol on Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart. The longest charting solo also belongs to Jungkook, with his solo song Euphoria, which we continue to buy to extend his record.
We also worked towards My Time becoming the fifth song in history to reach 100 #1's on iTunes. For Jungkook's birthday, we launched a project that succesfully resulted in My Time becoming the first ever BTS solo song to top the World Digital Song Sales chart.
In addition, we have supported Jungkook's work as a composer and a lyricist. With your donations, we accomplished multiple achievements for Your Eyes Tell, including becoming the first Asian song to top all 8 of the biggest music markets in the world, charting #1 on the World Digital Song Sales chart, #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 Japan, and topping iTunes in 113 countries.
We also helped buying BTS' single Dynamite in the US and UK for the first week. Finally, we strongly supported Savage Love Remix, funding over 17K units, contributing to the song reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with Jungkook as the main vocalist. More recently, we supported BTS' title track Life Goes On on its road to #1 on BB Hot 100. We also worked for Stay, helping it secure #22 on Hot 100 and being the Best Selling Song of Amazon of 2020, and the first BTS sub-unit to reach #1 on the World Digital Song Sales; as well as Telepathy, for which he also has writing credits.
We later worked for Jungkook's co-compiled Japanese Movie OST Film Out, helping it become the first song in Japanese of the century to debut in Hot 100, as well as achieving unprecedented records for a Japanese track.
To celebrate 8 years with Jungkook, we also charted Euphoria at #2 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales.
For JKDAY 2021, we gave Jungkook his 3rd #1 on Billboard World Digital Song Sales with his 1st solo Begin.
